Applications are invited in prescribed format for the following temporary posts for a period of three years. The selected candidates may be considered for appointment on a permanent basis subject to an assessment.
1) Junior Technical Superintendent in the Department of Chemistry
No. of Post: 2 (1 reserved for OBC & 1 UR)
Qualification : M.Sc. in Chemistry OR B.Sc. in Chemistry with 2 years relevant experience. Knowledge of computer applications desired.
2) Junior Technical Superintendent in the Electrical Maint.Division
No. of Post: 1 (reserved for SC)
Qualification : B.E. (Mechanical). Some experience in design, estimation, tendering and billing of new air conditioning work including central/ package/split/window airconditioning, maintenance of same airconditioners; computer applications for the air onditioning job; electrical power supply and control of air conditioners; energy efficiency of airconditioning.

Qualification : B.E. (Mechanical). 3) Sr. Library Information Assistant in the Central Library
No. of Post: 2 (1 reserved for ST & 1 UR)
Qualification : Degree from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) Bachelor’s degree/equivalent Diploma in Library Science of a recognised University/Institute obtained after graduation. (iii) Experience of two years in a Library/Computerisation of a Library or one year certificate in Computer application from a recognised Institution or equivalent. Candidate appointed to the post will be required to work on shift duties and on holidays, whenever necessary.

Pay Scale : Rs.9300/--34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-
Age limit : 32 years (relaxation as per rules)
Application Fee: Demand Draft of Rs.50/( No application fee for SC/ST/PH & Woman candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, IIT Bombay payable on SBI, Powai, Mumbai.
